If you are Required to have a BLS for Healthcare certification card, it assuredly needs to be an authentic American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers cert. card, which can only be provided after either (1) an official AHA BLS Challenge (written test and skills check), or (2) completing a classroom AHA initial BLS class or renewal BLS class, or (3) completing official AHA BLS for Healthcare Online Part 1 at onlineAHA.org, followed by a hands-on skills test with an AHA instructor. Please stay away from ANY training provider that offers “100% online course“, or “No skill test is needed“, or “same protocol as AHA BLS“, or “follows AHA guidelines“. These are psychomotor skills that might save a patient or loved one’s life if done correctly, and might not if not done correctly. We’re not certifying anyone that doesn’t display sufficient skill in the BLS or CPR techniques – why would any training provider do that?
